The Margot skirt in chalk is made from 100% hemp canvas, a sustainable alternative to cotton using little to no pesticides in crop development. It is a beautiful weighty fabric that will soften over time with wear. We recommend a gentle machine wash in mild detergent. Dry in the shade and hang in your wardrobe between wears to reduce ironing. Fabric woven by Hemp Fortex Industries - 100% Hemp Canvas

In an industry where margins are made at the expense of localism, ethics and quality, we are working towards a new standard of transparency. That is why we provide the cost of every element that goes into making an Arnsdorf dress, shirt, trouser, jumpsuit or top. We believe that this level of transparency takes consumers one step closer towards understanding the real cost of the clothing you wear.
First of all, the customer service I received from the lovey Olivia was next level AMAZING! Her fast replies and the next day arrival of the skirt, BEST EVER!
The skirt is a beautiful addition to my wardrobe, I love the thick material and the flattering fit. I ordered the size 6, and did have to get it altered around the waist (24 waist usually), and of course being a little shorty had to get it taken up to (my preference though, didn't need to). LOVEEEEEEEE this skirt!
I bought this skirt a couple of weeks ago and have waited to review until I washed and ironed it (according to instructions). Incidentally I also spilt some wine....more to come.
Worn straight out of the shop this skirt is immaculate. The attention to detail and the actual sewing is flawless. Plus, the design goes easily from office to drinks - seamlessly really. Well worth the price point for the design, skill, material and the fact that it Arnsdorf is an ethical Melbourne brand.
So often though I spend money of clothes like this only for the item to not look as special after it is washed at home (and who wants to spend so much on dry cleaning?). This is the real test. I washed this skirt on a cold hand wash as instructed with mild detergent. The wine stain came out easily. I feel as though the skirt has shrunk the tinniest amount. Absolutely it still fits and I did eat two dinners. So I dunno. The instructions also say to cold iron - I’d be interested to know what this actually means, or if my iron is a dud, but I did have to turn iron up to the linen setting (which makes sense on hemp material) - the skirt ironed really well at this temperature but I was nervous the entire time that I would burn the skirt.
So in summary I love this piece and will wear it for years to come. It is made with the best of skill and material, the wash only had a marginal impact and it ironed well so I feel confident I won’t have to dry clean in the future. Am looking to buy some pants next pay!
Very flattering skirt - love the thick material, the tailoring and the split. Have received lots of compliments when wearing.
Absolutely love my skirt. The fabric and style is exactly as pictured and so flattering. Customer service was great with questions and assisting with sizing! I can’t wait to invest in another piece!
