Who Cares Wins by Lily Cole

Many of you will recognise the name and pre-Raphaelite beauty of Lily Cole as a major fashion model of the early 2000's. By the age of 16, Lily had made her first international Vogue cover  and was walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier, McQueen and Westwood. She was named by French Vogue as one of the top 30 models of the 2000's. Lily moved in to film including Star Wars: The Last Jedi and while she still does the occasional modelling and runway show, her main mission over the last 10 years has been social issues and change.

In 2013 Lily Cole founded a platform called Impossible,  billed as a purpose driven innovation group, building products and designing businesses for the future. Their message is to create sustainable change, going from humans to humanity, to thinking about the planet from a systematic, social and long-term perspective. One of the recent 'Impossible' projects has been with zero waste eyewear company Wires Glasses who use bio plastic from castor beans.

Completing an MA in Art History at Cambridge Lily was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters by the University of Glasgow in for her contribution to humanitarian and environmental causes through social business.

Her new book Who Cares Wins is to inspire optimism and encourage activism. Lily says "We are the ancestors of our future: a generation that will either be celebrated for its activism or blamed for its apathy. It is for us to choose optimism, to make changes and to create the future we want."

Feel energised in our Seafoam... how dreamy :)

Hi Everyone!

Today is officially World Environment Day and this year the theme of World Environment Day 2020 is “Celebrate Biodiversity”.

At Arnsdorf we try to treat every day as World Environment Day.

Yes, we are a fashion brand but the heart of our philosophy is to do fashion ethically, sustainably and transparently.  This doesn't just mean the 'environment' as in a seperate being but in the environment of life through living and working in a better place and world.

We do our best but are always looking at ways that we can continue to improve and we love hearing your feedback and encouragement.

World Environment Day is another reminder for us all to celebrate why we are here and to keep working towards a better environment in every sense of the word.

Thank you for joining us on our journey!

Jerri wears the Siena Dress in Seafoam

Paying homage to the ocean, this colour is so fresh and uplifting, these pieces are the perfect mid-season pick-me-up.

Inspired by the neckline of our popular Claire Tee, the Siena Dress has narrow adjustable shoulder straps and finishes just above the knee.

The slip style is bias cut from a matt finish tencel fabric that has enough weight to drape and fall rather than cling.

Wear as is for a sexy summer or evening look or layer it up!

The Siena is a perfect match over our Seafoam Skivvy.

Give it a 90's twist by layering it over a pair of our Suit Trousers.

A very limited edition version of one of our most popular styles!

Our Merino Rib Skivvies are made from 100% fine Australian merino wool which is knitted locally here in Melbourne.

The Seafoam version has been custom dyed locally using a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) dye.

The fabric is light and soft but warm and has a slightly sheer quality making it a great piece on it's own or perfect for layering.

This can add flexibility to some of your summer tops or add some much needed colour to your winter wardrobe.
